 Characteristics: Excellent heat resistance and anti-cracking, good processing performance. 8407 is a chromium, molybdenum, vanadium alloy tool steel, the use of special technology and strict quality control of steel are of high purity and fine organization of steel, equal to 8407 of (isotropic) than the conventional refining system H13 better. This is the mold thermal stress resistance to mechanical fatigue and fatigue properties more valuable, such as die-casting mold, forging mold and extrusion mold. Therefore, mold hardness comparable with 8407 increased 1-2HRC ordinary H13 without sacrificing toughness. High hardness and can slow the occurrence of thermal cracking, to improve die life.
